High Plains Drifter

Full Description: Drifter is one impressive equine! The first time I laid eyes on him I had to pick my jaw up off the ground. This horse is 15.3 and is built like a brick house. I've only ever seen bone density like this on two other Rockies in the 100's I've trained. He is a very unique horse in not only color but build. He is just now back from the winery in CA after carrying tourists around for a year. He just needs a bit of a gait tune up and he's ready to go! He is a big sweetie pie and my son who is 12 begged for a ride. He is the little guy riding him in one of the pictures.

Full Description: Stormy as I call her is a very sweet mare. She has a super natural gait, which you can see in her video that I took in a sidepull to show how easy it is to manage her gait. Full Description: We have been using Remington for breeding since 2005. He has given us some amazing colored colts with beautiful builds. We are going to keep some of his daughters back for breeding. Full Description: Cotton is a very sweet mare. She has not been ridden in 6 years, but I was able to saddle her up and ride right off. She even remembers neckreining! She has given us some beautiful babies, most of them were gray. She is young enough to give you many years of riding or raising babies. Her short video cliip might not look too exciting...but the unique thing is that this video was taken 10 minutes after saddling her up for the first time in 6 years! After putting more trail miles on her we know she has some get up and go and likes to move out. Not a plod along horse.

Full Description: Chief is a very naturally gaited and SUPER smooth mare. However she needs an experienced rider only. I have ridden her and really enjoy her gait, but she tends to be spooky under saddle. So for this reason we are selling her as a broodmare only. She has been a broodmare for us and raised some really nice babies. One of her daughters will stay in our broodmare band. She passes on her gait and her offspring has always had good dispositions.
